There’s something special about the oldest!

There’s something so very special about the oldest child. They are the one you got to go through all the firsts with. They don’t get a say in being the oldest, they are just born into that place. They get to experience all the different versions of you as you navigate motherhood for the very first times. Your worries, your fears, your frantic panicked moments that maybe with the next child you look back and realize wasn’t so bad. You go through so many things together.

When it comes to documenting your second pregnancy it’s not just about documenting your pregnancy but enjoying every last moment with your oldest before they even become an oldest. These are the moments before everything changes for you and them. Before the dynamics of the home changes. Before they are no longer an only child. Before they are upgraded to big brother or sister. Before you both step into new seasons.

And yet, even with all the change, you’ll still go through first moments together. You’ll both navigate life with another child and all the changes that come with it. You’ll both have to adjust and change. And you’ll do it together.

Don’t miss out on documenting some of the most special years of your life. They won’t last forever. As a mama I know that one day we will look back on these days and miss the very things we were stressed and overwhelmed over.
